Gingers

GINGERS

A fabulous family of plants including Zingiber, Alpinia and Hedychiums. Some have become invasive in New Zealand, giving the entire group a bad name. The non invasive species are non seeding. Many are edible and or scented. A must for the subtropical garden.

Gingers are really easy care. Great for problem areas such as dry banks.
